Sweet Pea - 19 Weeks

Welcome to 19 weeks little one! You did good growing this week! We are almost halfway there!

Baby Changes:
Your sensory development is exploding! Your brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. You might be able to start hearing my voice this week! That is pretty neat!!! We are going to have to have daddy talk to you soon.
Your weigh about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches and you are about the size of an heirloom tomato. Your arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Your kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on your scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on your skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

Movement: I usually feel you at least once a day! It is usually in the morning and late at night. I love feeling your little kicks and moves. I just smile when I feel you!
Cravings: No cravings this week.

Sleep: Sleeping well! Very thankful for that! Thursday and Friday this week we had snow days, so Mommy got to sleep in some and rest and it was very nice! :)
Symptoms: Feeling pretty good now!
Daddy update: He's doing great! He got to stay home with us on Friday and we all played in the snow. Your big brother loved it!

News:
Not much happening besides missing two days of school for a snow day and playing with big brother all weekend!

Days until due date: 147days - 21 weeks!

Love, Mommy
